As Naruto saw them leave he started to get up and walk through the party and looking around. Then he saw the teachers there drinking beer and smoking. He also saw Asuma trying to kiss Kurnai but quickly turned away and blushed. He saw Kakashi drunk and playing cards with Gai who was also kinda drunk. The were screaming curses at each other and trying to fight but then they started to calm down. Naruto saw a lot of people even some he never knew or noticed before. Then he was tired and sat down and started drink some water. He noticed Sasuke and starting to blush a deep red because of what he said about him earlier.

Then as he noticed Sasuke he saw Ino and Sakura surrounding him.

“Hey Sasuke-kun it’s a really great party”  Sakura said while putting her hand on Sasuke’s shoulder and getting really close to his face trying to flirt with him.

“Yeah Sasuke it’s a great party” Ino said as she did what Sakura did.
“Hey Sasuke……Want dance?” Sakura said while blushing.
“HEY FOREHEAD GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS GOING TO ASK HIM THAT!!!!!
Ino said angrily to Sakura.
“WELL TO LATE INO-PIG I ASKED HIM FIRST!” Sakura said while a grin on her face.

They continued to argue so much that they didn’t even notice Sasuke left. “Pathetic losers…………” Sasuke thought as he walked away.  When Naruto continued to see them argue that he laughed.
He continued to look around and saw Hinata and Kiba dancing. It made Naruto smile to see them together.

“Well Hinata won’t be bothering me anymore” Naruto thought as he watched the new couple makeout. He started to smile sweetly and started to look at the clock and it was 11:00 pm.

“Ok everybody time to announce the winner of the costume”
Rock Lee exclaimed as he had the microphone in his hand and the spotlight on him.
“Ok I got the results in my hand. Time to see who is the winner”
Rock Lee exclaimed while he opened the envelope.
“And the winner is………drum role please,”
“NARUTO UZAMAKI!!!!!” Rock Lee said proudly and then clapped.
Instantly the light began to shine on Naruto. Naruto walked up to the front of the room and was really happy to win.
“Wow! I don’t know what to say but…… Thank you everybody,”   
Naruto said and happily waved to the people. After that Naruto walked down. Everybody clapped and as he walked through the room everybody congratulated him. He started to smile and felt a feeling he never felt before. He actually felt special. As Sasuke saw Naruto happy he had a warm smile. He noticed Sasuke smiling at him he felt like blushing.
As soon as he was out of the big crowd it was time for the last dance……it turned out to be a slow dance. Naruto saw people get paired up except some.
Sakura - Lee
Hinata - Kiba
TenTen - Neji
And some other random people……
Naruto noticed someone walking to him. It was Sasuke.
“Hey, dobe” Sasuke said
“Hey” Naruto replied
“umm Naruto…”
“Yeah Sasuke,”
“You Having a good time?”
“Well not really that much…..”
“Awww why not? You won the costume contest after all…” said Sasuke smirking.
“I know but……”
“Hey Dobe,”
“Yeah…”
“Wanna Dance?……” Sasuke asked.

When Naruto heard those words escape Sasuke’s lips Naruto thought he was dreaming. Sasuke never said those words to anyone. “Is this for real?………“ Naruto asked in his mind. There was awkward silence between them.  Naruto just stood there lost in his thoughts. He was staring into space. Sasuke was confused. He kept waiting for a response from the blonde. But the blonde just sat there in silence still lost in his thoughts and the words rewinding over, over, and over again.

“Oi, dobe, are you ok?” Sasuke asked a little worried about the blonde dobe. Naruto snapped out of it and shuck his head to return back to earth. He was still a little shocked about what Sasuke said. Naruto rubbed his head from all the thoughts and questions running around his head.


“huh? Uhhh yeah I’m alright. Sorry I spaced out.” Naruto said as one of those Anime sweat drops appeared. “Its ok. I was getting worried” Sasuke replied. So as the night continued they continued to talk. Few moments later the last song was about to play.

“Hey!” Sasuke noticed as one song played.
“What?” Naruto asked confused.
“You never answered my question from before…” Sasuke said as a smirk started to grew on his face.
“What question?” Naruto asked still confused.
“You wanna dance?” Sasuke asked letting out a hand like Shikamaru did to Temari. A small blush started to appear on Naruto’s face.
“I-I……” Naruto again was to shy to answer. “I-I l-like that” as he put his hand on top of Sasuke’s just like Temari. “Oh god oh god oh god!!!!!” Naruto started to panic in his head. Naruto never danced before so he was really nervous about this. But as he danced with Sasuke it really didn’t matter. He felt as nobody was there just him and Sasuke. He gazed into Sasuke eyes and Sasuke did the same with Naruto. Their eyes never escaped from each other. They didn’t even blink once. They just continued dancing the whole night. As the last song was about to play (it was a slow dance song) they still danced. They didn’t notice that everyone didn’t dance to this one……Everyone except Sasuke and Naruto. They danced in this one.

As Naruto and Sasuke still danced. Sasuke held Naruto very close. Naruto rested his head on Sasuke’s shoulder. Naruto closed his eyes as he rested his head. He and Sasuke started to rock back and forth, back and forth. Then the song eventually ended and they stopped. It was about 12:00.

Halloween was over……

Everybody said there goodbyes and thank you then headed home in the darkness. It was late and Naruto is scared to go alone. Anybody can try to attack or try to kill him at this time. After all almost everyone in the village hated and despised him. Naruto was to tired to fight anybody to fight someone at this hour.

“Naruto……” Sasuke said as Naruto was about to leave.
